UNKLE - Follow Me Down (dir. Warren du Preez, Nick Thornton Jones)
Tits'n'ass!

looks amazing but... yawn...
i kind of love the framing at the top and tail, that appears to have nothing to do with the rest of the vid, except what you think it does...
The video features super model Liberty Ross
vid looks awful, whats with the shitty keying and comping back of smoke plates, agree with the frame at the beginning, good mood but then all goes boring...
a bit mannerist and, why not admit it, boring still, spectacular battery-sized nipples
Nudity in music videos seems to be this year's new trend. Artsy nudity aside, this video looks more at home at an euro fashion convention rather than an Unkle video. It doesn't work. It's not the right pitch. Neither would be a performance video, anything but this.
I like the nipples and the female bodies, it's just the wrong treatment for this sorta thing.
Which bring me to my second, and most important point:
Do directors even listen to the tracks these days? I've seen many videos this year where the video comes first and the track is an aftertthought, like a soundtrack rather than interpretation.
Oh, and the outside had NOTHING to do with the rest of the video. Link it up next time.
