Tim Halperin "She Runs"
Made to look like an elementary school play. One continuous dolly shot.
I think elementary school plays is a new cliche in Indie videos.
So looking forward to seeing this concept in EVERY SINGLE TV AD very, very soon.

nah bro, that shit's been around for a minute.
I thought it was nice and rough around the edges. How many takes to nail it?
took 14 takes...this is take 13. pretty good considering all the movements/costume changes. Plus we were dealing with 5 year old kids who had been in 95 degree heat for 7 hours. They were troopers though and great actors/actresses!
I agree with true_fiction. Another cliche is the continuous dolly shot. Kudos on commanding an army of kids though!
Why 13 takes? Every wipe is so obvious that this could've been roto'd. In fact, watching this makes it hard to believe this was a single take.
yes moving sets have become a cliché now. this reminds me particularly of terri timely's little ones promo. but there's no harm in using a well established technique.
however, the acting is pretty awful here.
I just like the whole thing. Made amazingly!
