The next edition of Plus Camerimage Film Festival is drawing near. The most important festival devoted to the art of cinematography will once again feature the Music Videos Competition. The call for entries has been announced and the deadline for submissions is 20th September 2010. More details accompanied by Rules and Regulations can be found at www.pluscamerimage.pl

Among the accepted entries there will be music videos produced with the participation of a cinematographer as well as music videos made with the use of various animation techniques. Music Videos Competition Jury after watching and judging the nominated videos will present two awards: Best Cinematography in a Music Video and Best Music Video. The official screening for the Festival’s audience including the competition jury will take place during the Festival that will be held from 27th November through 4th December in Bydgoszcz [bid-goshch], Poland.

Last year’s winners are the videos for The Hickey Underworld’s ‘Blonde Fire’ (dir. Joe Vanhoutteghem, cin. Nicolas Karakatsanis) and Depeche Mode’s ‘Wrong’ (dir. Patrick Daughters, cin. Shawn Kim). Music video directors, cinematographers, producers, commissioners, labels, artist and production companies are invited to submit their entries. All are welcome to visit the event and enjoy it’s unique atmosphere of a film art celebration.
