I know we all have opinions but I'm a touch confused how somebody could look at this video and only see digital photography.
I liked it quite a bit. This guy has been making some very cinematic work.
I was with it until the dancers...
Agreed that the dancers diluted it a bit, although the shot of him hovering through the dancers looking completely bemused was great. The performance from the lead actor was very nice. The photography was also very very nice, except that one house exterior shot day for night. Still, good stuff.
very cinematic. very slow though... it lost me. why can't someone make work that's cinematic AND provocative/ fresh. where's all the new kid's with fancy cameras making statements?
