The Hundred in the Hands - Commotion (Dir. DANIELS)
I find this one a bit too scattered, but it's still hugely enjoyable and fun.
Awesome video! these guys are on a roll. What I like about their videos is the method to the craft. The post is always good. Here is no exception.
Nothing gets tired.
bunch of ideas, some better than others. not sure it amasses to anything more than that, which is ok.
still, admire the effort these guys put in their videos.
I find the glitch / scratch editing nauseating. I thought this stuff died in 2001? On the upside it's shot and graded nicely.
For the rest of it I agree with Senilitynow above.
I'll pitch in. A video should not amount to more than the execution of it's ideas, I like the variety is great and disagree that the glitch is "2001". Explain what is "2001". It works well. It's part of their style. The expectations are very high for any video posted here, but I think these guys are great video makers. So I applaud that.
"A video should not amount to more than the execution of it's idea..."
SHOULD not? or "most of the times does not"?
Elaborate. Whether the idea is to accomplish or fail at what it set out to do. That's what separates something good in execution from bad. It's what I was trying to say.
It "accomplished what it set out to do" is my opinion.
I love the daniels. All of their work has blown me away. But this was a disappointment. I know they work with little or no money which is awesome but I know they can take this in another direction or change it up to show they are more than post wizards. But the photography is getting better.
However you gotta keep making videos so cheers to them for enhancing there portfolio.
Can't wait for there "next level" video.
Would have been curious with what they would have done with foster the people.
"A video should not amount to more than the execution of it's idea..."
Uh, What?
^ if the idea of said video is to entertain or enlighten, or whatever it's intentions, ect. It narrows down to that idea. Is it that hard to get?
Are you the director Victus?
Nah just like the video. It's a tricky site, but I stand up to good work and make that opinion public.
this lacked the cohesiveness of their other vids.
