Having heard Trophy Wife were already touring with Foals I knew something cool was happening with these guys. Then when I saw this video I was doubly impressed, how many bands have their first video as a narrative based tale with layers and intrigue like this? The film's tone is almost Lynchian. But really, it's the concept to take your track and put it as the music on a telephone waiting line that struck me as impressive! If a bit risky to associate with such music, definitely shows a great sense of humour too, dark humour! Though if there's any music that should be beatable it's call waiting muzak. More videos like this please!
