this was awesome. i loved the concept and attention to detail in the art direction and cinematography... loved the spielberg ET feel... it's definitely not perfect, but still a great piece... but what does it mean?!

@motleycrew - um the point is that it's a direct reference to ET not an 'ET feel'. Post modern and all that, means nothing.
Cinematography and direction is really well done. However, even though I liked the idea of the concept it seems like it didn't quite achieve the humour it was suppose to? In fact it's actually not funny at all and I'd almost say that it was lame if not for the amount of money and effort that was put into the production.
Kind of feels like jonas and francois trying to do a hommage to ET with an added touch of andreas nilsson and keith schofeild thrown in the mix to give that acceptable amount of pop culture 'weird'.
It's not lame, I just don't like shots of bands performing. In a video like this.
appreciate the effort, but it's a conceptual mess. and just from a "music video" viewpoint, the band performance at the end is awkward and they don't seem to be enjoying themselves. not to say they weren't sad sacks in the nilsson vids, but they at least showed some charisma.
all very true, the band performance and child lip synching almost ruins it. the band sincerely looks unhappy and awkward... i guess i just love ET and giant candy bars with arian children inside. if this was suppost to be funny it failed. also the shutter is too damn slow it looks goopy. my good vibes from my morning coffee have faded
yeah i like it but i prefer the nilsson's ones
the actor's lip singing ruins it for me..
