megaforce's videos have a sense of energy which i like; i would like to see them direct a headbanging rock video

fuck me dead. it was alright. didn't like the feeling that the guy was crawling on the ground with a dutched camera. obvious. like... man just stand up and walk already. i did like where he rose up in the smoke and the conceptual throwback to Evil Dead was nice. not great not horrible. interesting work from MEEEEEGAAAAAAAAFORCE!!! (FORCE, FORCE, FORCE)

         

@motleycrew I feel the same way. I miss the really mindbending megaforce videos where you would pause the video and examine every frame.

This was nothing like that and I was totally disappointed.

         

yes megaforce has made better videos, this one being one of the weaker ones, yet it's still better than 90% of the rest of the stuff out there. and it doesn't matter who did it anyways... you can just tell its megaforce so whatevs.. like i said, they're switching their style, there is just so much match cutting one can do.

These guys do pretty cool special effects/ art direction, but on the whole I have a hard time getting into the actual videos.

Yeah, but their style is what differentiated them from other music video directors. This definitely isn't a bad music video, but it doesn't really have the usual megaforce spark that inspires me to watch again and examine.

         

^ indeed... but sometimes it's up to oneselves to come up with new and exciting styles/techniques ;)
