GONDRY DIRECTS JKL

that thing with the alteregos all arriving one after the other is ripped off from Virgil Widrich's "Copy Shop" short. the concept of doubles has been used plenty, but the execution is particularly similar (with the repeated wake-up and going to work in b&w)

Caphairy you do realize Gondry is the originator of such devices?
Wake up in b + w
Pays tribute to his own genius: on live TV.
Love it.

Victus. ever heard of Borges? Gogol? Dostoyevski? Or in film, ever heard of Zbigniev Rybczinski?
Gondry's had some fun with it but he is def not the originator of doubles.
Widrich didn't invent it either. that short is from 2001, but the execution is very similar.

Yeah, I enjoyed that. It reminded me of the short film 'Copy Shop'-
