ilan and Sipo, two Israeli musicians, launch a music video for the first ever studio-produced iphone track. The song, a cover version to the song 'Blanket' by Urban species, was released a month ago and is considered to be the first professional music production recorded entirely using iphone apps, incl. keyboards, guitars, drum loops and more. All in all 24 different instruments played on 17 different iphone apps. ilan Dorot and Sivan Sipo Porat, are musicians and technology enthusiasts, constantly seeking the innovation in the merger between these two worlds. "The iphone is not the issue here.. the idea was producing a professional music creation using unorthodox means. We try to break the paradigm - a song doesn't have to be limited to traditional musical instruments, and on the other hand - a song played entirely on an iphone doesn't have to sound like 4 ppl playing in the subway" say ilan and Sipo.
