It looks like it was lit with a halogen worklight you can get at Home Depot.
The one good idea they had (which wasn't executed at all well) was the girls looping back and forth to that sound in the song. It had one idea kernel that was good. That's all.
I wouldn't wish a Hype video on my least favorite artists.
