Forgetful video for a strong track. That's disappointing.

Didn't people start realizing in 2009 that cutting to unrelated shots on every hi-hat, bass and snare hit just never works? It's like the editors are working with their eyeballs two inches away from the screen and it's this contest to see if you can get your editing timeline to look like a ProTools session.

After a string of Anthony Mandler videos this isn't bad. It's just overdone edit wise. And the grade on set up B don't match A.

I think Drake needs new plot devices. Maybe just have him at a gay bar or something. Just, anything but the Negril nights he's been in.

Should have been canned. This is not bad, but for big artist it's not too great.

         

Yeah, this video is nowhere near as pretentious as the Mandler videos (or any Mandler video, for that matter).

I like Mandler's work but can't pinpoint anything I remember from it. I don't wanna criticize the guy he's doing very well, but it wonders what is great / special or new.
