Briar Rabbit-Introduction to The Great Routine
Chicago’s Briar Rabbit is releasing a suite of songs entitled The Great Routine, which looks back upon the minstrel shows at the turn of the last century and reflects upon how this form of generally accepted entertainment affects contemporary African American artists.
