Man, rough. Kinda depressing that the style of a music video maverick is now the commodified commercial standard.

Bright colors, smiling people, trendy set - all the make of mediocre advertising. It's hard to look at this and celebrate it knowing this could have been a commercial for any number of multi national corporation(s).

I was about to say that i thought it was sad that in the days of micro-budgets, gondry videos are micro-entertaining.

This was a mouthwatering good combo, band and director. But like budget is saying (i think) I found this to be underdeveloped, if you compare to something like gondrys 'knives out', similarish approach but with so much more depth. still good but im sure with more time it could have been a lot more.
