A girl, a boy, and a love story gone wrong... 

After previously shooting a 'live', one-take video for 'Swans', a song on Dublin folk/Americana band I Draw Slow's second album 'Redhills' the band ask me back to direct the first single on the their new album, 'White Wave Chapel', which is out March 1st on Pinecastle in the US and worldwide. 

We shot in a small, hidden gem of a bar in Dublin's inner city, the Hacienda, which you really have to buzz to get into, and on the surrounding streets. Our DP Cathal Watters used superspeed Zeiss lenses from Panavision on the RED Epic. I asked Aidan Gillen ('Game of Thrones', 'The Wire') if he'd play the male lead, never thinking he'd actually say yes, but he liked the band and it all came together really fast...
