Spookyland - The Silly Fucking Thing (dir. Rory Pearson)


The video revolves around a scene most of us are all too familiar with, the cycle of love/heartbreak/further analysis/self-improvement/hope and then fucking despair all over again. Rory Pearson, who has directed music videos for Seekae and Chancellor lent his creative mind to the clip, eloquently capturing both the instrumentally and emotionally moving aspects of Spooky’s work. The clip stars a raccoon eyed Marcus Gordon, a symbolically colourful bowl froot loops and up and coming local actors Rahel Abdulrahman and Brielle Flynn.
