After months of teasing on the Internet, the official video for Funkadelic’s “Ain’t That Funkin’ Kinda Hard On You (We Ain’t Never Gonna Stop Remix)” remix has arrived, and it’s got a slew of contributors. There’s Kendrick Lamar, OG Comptonian, Ice Cube, and…Star Wars? Or at least an incredibly funky remixed version of the opening of a new Star Wars episode.

Featuring psychedelic and futuristic visuals and, best of all, a white feather headdress, the overall appearance of this video comes off as Compton meets The Force meets The Capitol from The Hunger Games. The video follows the intergalactic pursuits of George Clinton and the torchbearers of funk as they all co-pilot the mothership as it descends upon an interplanetary soiree.
