Kam Corvet’s “Give It A Try” is an ode to the lovelorn and scorned—those perhaps wary to engage in a relationship for one reason or another. Corvet’s svelte strums, mixed with the Atlanta singer-songwriter’s melodic vocals, makes for a potent punch, but Kam’s muse for the track—the true story of his parents eloping after being pen pals—is the heart of the tune.

"Give It A Try" is about the feeling when someone previously reluctant to get into a relationship, finds him or herself changing their mind. It's when a person realizes they had the wrong perception of what real relationships bring.
