"Too colored" was one of the first prejudices Onejiru heard when moving from Kenya to Wanne-Eickel in Germany. Today she looks straight in our eyes and questions what we see when we watch her. This music-short resulted from a close artistic collaboration between musicians and filmmakers, telling about Onejiru's versatile life through a colorful form that refuses to fit into any predefined shape. It is time to stop looking at each other, and start seeing whats behind another. After all, everyone we love has once been a stranger.
