MILLI is a 19yo Thai rapper. On 21 July 2021, the military government of Prayut Chan-o-cha charged her for criticising it about its poor response to the COVID-19 pandemic. She was accused of posting information which "harms national security", a crime punishable by five years in prison. Thai netizens, including artists and music entities, rallied to the call using the hashtag "#Saveมิลลิ" (#SaveMilli). but seems all its produced is a government response to prosecute at least 20 more Thai influencers Of course she's right and good on her too! Most governments response to the pandemic has been abysmal and totally criminal
