....Shynola's brilliance is their great ideas first, and their creative execution 2nd - as good as this video is technically, one can't overlook the fact it's the EXACT SAME CONCEPT AS THE RAPTURE'S "HOUSE OF JEALOUS LOVERS." I mean, c'mon.
Yeah, thanks for the compliment, do you actually know where it comes from, because if you do, man you are cool. And you're right about the rapture video, I just liked this one better for some reason, excecution I guess. I just remember getting bored watching that rapture video, this one I didn't. I've only seen a few shynola videos, but I don't know, they're not geniuses or anything. Maybe my comment was a little pretentious, but I can't think of a good way to finish this.
well.. at first.. NO one is better than Shynola, they rock! Our very first idea was that the Sweatmaster boys would go to 50´s - 60´s American print ads and mess up there. Bands boys didn´t like the idea and they suggest that what if the poster would be classic rock posters. We don´t like the idea and I personally thought that it´s now too close to Rapture´s video. So we stop making the video. After a six months we suddenly found "Art of rock"-book in library and we give up and start to make video again. While we were working with video we also got inspired watching videos like "the Datsuns - Motherfucker from hell", Incubus, Jet, Franz Ferdinanz... The thing that the poster woke up alive was also seen in promoe musicvideo and was it Anastacia or something and so on.
Shynola's animating the Hitchhiker's Guide for the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie. That news makes me weep with joy. And Langdon Allger is the shy kid that Lisa Simpson confides in Homer that she likes. Great episode!
Great episode indeed, and to that kle guy, did you actually make this video, or help make it something? If so I think it's pretty concieded for you to advertise it saying that it's really "cool and original" when you just said that you yourself felt that it was too close to the rapture's video. Oh and actually Garth Jennings from hammer and tongs is directing the hitchhiker's movie, with shynola just doing some animation to appear in it, I assume. It's going to be probably one of the best films of 2005, or whenever it comes out.
