this blog thinggy isnt about posting (promoting) your own work. its about posting good music videos. not showreels, freak circus videos or funny (crappy) flash animations.

Oh, well,krof, you 'toughed' wrong maybe. We happen to do music videos, not freak circus stuff (which is some of the best stuff i've seen around here anyway), and shortly you'll be able to watch some at our site. And your girlfriend is fat.

         

well i can say was not our intention to "promote" anything. we thought might be interesting to show our showreel (where, by the way, there is music videos for bands like Jazzanova or Jason Forrest/Donna Summer and works for MTV Australia and such), specially when this is a music videos forum. about the "good music videos" thing you said, we might discuss a lot what is a "good music video" for you, for us and for the rest of the people. we are not all cunnigham´s and we don´t want to be, definitely. people working, doing different things. that´s the spirit of the music video industry and if people like you is the people who is suposed to like and/or judge what a good or bad music video is, then we better close the store, dude. i think the freak circus thing is interesting, you couldn´t check it anywhere else and for people doing music videos in active, is nice to have the chance to see it: is all about ideas, new knowledges and references. quite complicated language, isn´t? there is a whole world of things outside your room. word. besides. getting critics it´s always nice. when there is a reason, an explanation. that´s why we have the balls to post here and expect some reactions. this is a music video forum and we do music videos. where is the problem? i have seen lots of showreels since i´m a member from this forum. we posted in other music video forums and we had no complains at all. don´t get me wrong. you might thing our animations are crappy (even if we are getting paid for it) or you might not like our work. that´s cool. we want to hear your constructive opinions, your master class. otherwise, you are just giving us one evidence after another...

         

problem for me was to first seeing dj shitbird flash awesomenes, then some unintresting showreel, then some beton weights hanging from some guys nipples, then some portfoliosite with really "cool" flash intro, interface with flashing bg and quicktimes that wont load. ...this site used to be about links to cool musicvideos (like it says on the header). i got worried. had to say something. sorry if it offended you.
