Hilarious, fun new video for the upcoming Flaming Lips single, "Spongebob and Patrick Confront the Psychic Wall of Energy", which the band wrote for the upcoming Spongebob Squarepants movie.
Action Figure, an Austin-based creative agency specializing in film production and design, worked with the Lips' longtime film collaborator Bradley Beesley and the band's frontman Wayne Coyne as a directorial duo.

Yeah, I'm a fan of both and I think this is pretty terrible.
I never understood the point of having a music video that actually shows the video being made. I like the flaming lips, never really understood the appeal of spongebob, but I think that both the song and video are not so good. I don't think that the flaming lips ever had any good videos though.
i love the flaming lips, but NEVER have liked the videos. piss poor once again.
