This video is a really incredible montage of North Korean group performances. I saw it in a theatre at a RES screening - it was really effective and kind of, well, frightening...in a beautiful sort of "world takeover" way. Unfortunately, it doesn't really have the same effect when viewed on a small screen. Hopefully somebody can find a high res quicktime of it somewhere.

yes this is one of the coolest videos I've seen in awhile

....apparently it's culled from footage from a documentary that the band saw - so not a typical director-makes-a-video-type-deal; but cool to see anyway.

i saw that recently on MTV europe in sweden. it was early morning and we were all getting ready for work and it just stopped us in our tracks. in a time where graphical and FX wizardry definitely reign supreme, i think it's pretty awesome to just see people doing actually doing crazy shit in real life, analog style, with remarkable precision and grace.

it also made me think how crap MTV is here in the US. from what i saw over there they actually show a lot of videos.
