stumble then rise on some awkward morning

Award winning experimental music video by director Kurtis Hough featuring the enchanting music of A Silver Mt. Zion. It follows an organic, dreamlike journey spiraling from life to death.

(misteriously,my comment from yesterday disappeared. are there mods on here that do this? i'll just repost, i guess...)having seen both videos, i'd say your strength is definitely in abstract animation. strosam is beautifully hypnotic; it looks a little like a 21st century fischinger. excellent organic/abstract, seriality and high contrast lighting.
my only doubts would be on the (intentional?) excessive viscosity of the water ripples, and on what looks like an overlaid dirty negative effect (the little verticle scratchlines)
otherwise: lovely!

I really liked this clip. The movement works beautifully with the music. Good work.kurtis hough, March 22, 2005 6:13:10 PM CET
The reason your comment vanished is because I had to repost the videos because after one day on this site because my monthly bandwidth exceeded its limit. But luckily I have the videos on another site so now it links to that.captainmarc22, March 23, 2005 2:54:42 AM CET
Captainmarc22 likes it when directors post blurbs about their work in the third person.
