Zbigniew Rybczynski meets Tetsuo: The Iron Man, though more likely influenced by that Buffalo Daughter video from 7 years ago. It's been done, but it's a nice effect. The ending's the best part.najork, April 7, 2005 3:54:47 AM CEST

Talking of Rybczynski, does anyone know where i can find some of his stuff on line?. Im looking specifically for a short he did called 'Manhattan', it's a continuous loop of a new york cop whooping into a walkie talky while a bathtub floats around him in which sit two very nervous looking droopy dogs. It's live action and it's the greatest thing i've ever seen.....ai, April 7, 2005 1:51:28 PM CEST
Very good video. Light and chaotic. good spirit, good match with the song.replay, April 7, 2005 4:38:16 PM CEST
tetsuo the iron man is a fantastic film, although i feel the similarities between that and this video are rather minute. oh and does anyone else find it amusing that a band so incredible dull should be called the thrills?lusk81, April 7, 2005 6:21:39 PM CEST
Replay I agree 100%.binkystick, April 7, 2005 6:50:24 PM CEST
33hurts: Don't know if you can find his work online. I've been unsuccesful. But if you live in LA, CineFile has the videotape of his work (though I don't remember seeing the piece you speak of on it)Replay: Yeah, minute similarities...just thinking of the effect of when he's flying through the streets...same type of animation.
And, yeah, this band is pretty bland. Oh well.
