Not quite the fireworks of some of his other vids, but still nice. Even when it feels half baked, it still looks great and puts the song/band in an interesting light.captainmarc22, May 1, 2006 3:34:17 AM CEST
meh.... doesn't quite work for me. Having an upbeat poppy song with a dark/moody video only works for me when there's a bit of irony. Here it looks like he recycled a 'concept' and somebody didn't realize it. This looks like outtakes from his Royksopp video.Has all his stuff gotten darker since "Human" ? That video had a playfulness that seems to be gone now.

well, it was the first of his that i have seen, and i enjoyed it. the color compesition was earnest, directly paralleling the core subcontext of the lyrics. though, it did remind me a bit too much of bye, bye birdie ...framescourer, May 1, 2006 8:44:06 AM CEST
Academy films' previewer doesn't like me so I watched it (after several squillion commercials) at Yahoo. Agree with captainmarc22 above.Disappointing really: I saw the band perform the single on TOTP (mainstream, if out of favour UK TV pop magazine) last night. Impressive without a video, you'd hope to double your money with one
