Lovely. Feels very natural despite the heavy manipulation. Even trying to look a it technically, I can't pick up on exactly what is being done here.ai, June 25, 2006 1:45:32 PM CEST

laurent briet is the king of filters.swampgirl, June 25, 2006 6:40:43 PM CEST
This is just gorgeous. Though I guess it's a head-start having a leading man who's really really ridiculously goodlooking, even without filters. Or shampoo.Love the sleepy yawning.

This absolutely feels like a rainy, lonely night drinking in Manhattan. Even though it's been manipulated it feels totally organic. That's the thing I'm most envious of Laurent - his ability to incorporate homebrew imagery from computers that looks like an aberration of memory or sensation. That shot looking down from the rooftop is all kinds of photographically awesome.

thats pretty special..agree with otaku about the post feeling really organic, and because of that it never becomes too much.. i wonder if any lens filters have been used as well.. one that seperates, and shifts RGB maybe..
who knows.. quality work..

Really beautiful piece. Fits in really well with the Ed Holdsworth performace based piece he did for 'Work' (on factoryfilms.net) Similar styles and colours, both very beautiful.cutcutcut, August 27, 2006 11:52:36 PM CEST
I really liked this. A bold video as it is kinda aimless and never really explains itself. It really sells the song, and suggests the perfect moment to hear it - when the sun comes up, after a night out. The shot of the singer standing by the bridge at the end, hair flowing in the morning breeze fits the music perfectly. I'd love to know the photographic technique used to create those swirling effects. Or is it post fx?
