Stylus Magazine - Top 100 Music Videos


Speaking of the cultural impact of music videos; Stylus magazine is doing a top 100 music videos list this week.
         
The inclusion of the Kid606 video by Pleix reminded me that it's perhaps my favorite video ever. Go Stylus.
         
If only they hadn't embedded the videos but placed a link to the page in YouTube, it's better that way because you can shrink the video back to it's original size.

another youtube-question (sorry for that): audio / video is in my browser often not in synchronicity, no matter which browser or if embedded or stand alone or somewhere else. - Does anyone knows how to handle this problem?

That Stylus list is getting increasingly random by the day. I dig the inclusion of "This is Hardcore" though. Not a widely seen vid here in the states, but completely incredible.

Makes me wonder what compiling a definitive 100 list actually would involve.. there are several angles one can take on the concept. So far they all look like loose trips of nostalgia plus some good judgement. I know I sound holier-than-thou, but so far I'm unconvinced (though I'm having lots of fun looking back, really).

A good 100 list would probably be a lot more boring than these - too many repeating directors label ppl..
