antville Music Video Awards 2008
The Winners (say hi) !
The shared honour of Best Cinematography went to two different corners of the globe: to Mike Ragen for his work on Damien Jurado's Caskets, and to (doubly nominated) André Chemetoff, for his part in Justice's Stress. Both wrote in briefly:

"It was great to be considered next to these awesome videos. Matt Daniels is a very visual director who deserves a lot of the credit as well. Phil Anderson was an amazing AC who also found most of the locations we used and everyone else involved with costumes/art/makeup really made this piece look the way it did. The Super Speeds and the Red One also didn't hurt."

"Many thanks for this award; making this video meant a lot to us and i would like to take this opportunity to thank my crew: my gaffer jean christophe Frendo, my focus puller leo Hinstin and the guys ben Gitai and illan Rosenblatt who had to run a lot... and also i would like to thank bertrand Duval who did the color grading on "stress" and on "the age of the understatement" videos and of course ellen Treasure for the inspiration. Big up and happy new year, peace.... andré"
urgh... why are you holding an american flag dude.. is that supposed to be a joke?
just wondering, andré: this ellen t? what's the connection to your work?
urgh... um... because I knew I would get a reaction from at least one person... happy new years.
i also couldn't find many pictures of myself.
