Chronicles an RV trip across the US during
the 2004 election campaign, registering
progressive voters. Fun. Nav to more videos on
the site, especially "Spend & Spin" and
"Dancing in the Desert."

These boys are way hotter than I thought they would be. The rabbit girl reminds me of Donnie Darko too much.

The Thermals ”No Culture Icons” by Lance Bangs
Want more postpunk?
» No Culture Icons (QT, 13MB)
» thethermals.com
I kind of like the Sub Pop irony in this one.
(By the way, what is it that they do in Portland, Oregon, to get all these cool bands? There’s Sleater-Kinney, 31Knots, The Thermals, Decemberists, The Shins …)

Help she can’t swim ”I don’t need you”
Yet another British ’neopostpunk’ act, but this time with a female singer, I really love that song:
» I don’t need you (flash)
which can be found at fantastic plastic records, the band’s homepage is here.
