The 2001 movie "All About Lily Chou-Chou" followed troubled teenage fans of this fictional pop star. The resulting soundtrack was quite good, part of which showed up in Kill Bill. This singer currently records under the name Salyu.

Except for the last 15 seconds, which were taped in miniDV, “Waves” was entirely created at home in an Apple G5 and a Power Book G4, out of digital photographs obtained from different sources. I decided not to film the video but to use photos instead in order to get a more different and original stop motion like effect work.
