This guy is getting all kinds of hype lately as the new funk/soul messiah (thanks to a big boost from KCRW). Van Hunt is more up to the task, IMHO. I like where Taylor's trying to go with it, but I wish he were a little more Sly Stone than Steely Dan (nothing against Steely Dan, mind you). Hopefully he's more raw live.
Can't complain about an eyeful of Esthero, though.
