Apparently, there was a time, light years ago and in a parallel world, when directors actually got residuals from music videos. Obviously, this could never happen today. Or how else can one explain this suit by John Landis?

Need help finding video - Artist in NY city, painting small canvasses, video reveals they're part of a huge mural.
Saw the video in the last 18 months. Think it's set in NY. An artist is painting small pieces of a canvas. The big reveal at the end of the video is that these were all pieces of a much larger work.
Does anybody remember this?
