I'm trying to find an online video reference of a specific special effect that I know I've seen before but can't quite remember where...
It's very similar to the 'time travel' effect that happens near the end of Harry Potter 3. Basically the concept is: photographed time lapse street scenes. Say, 8 hours, resulting in a 15 minute clip. Then, on a green screen (with matching lighting) footage of a subject in subtle slow-motion (maybe 30fps) for about 15 minutes. The subject was composited into the time lapse BG so it's like she was graceful and slow while the world around her was blurring by.
