This guy is getting all kinds of hype lately as the new funk/soul messiah (thanks to a big boost from KCRW). Van Hunt is more up to the task, IMHO. I like where Taylor's trying to go with it, but I wish he were a little more Sly Stone than Steely Dan (nothing against Steely Dan, mind you). Hopefully he's more raw live.
Can't complain about an eyeful of Esthero, though.

This is part of a live DVD we are editing at the moment. Shot on dvx-100's. The sound is camera mic at this stage, but the final dvd will have the pro-tool recorded sound added.

Except for the last 15 seconds, which were taped in miniDV, “Waves” was entirely created at home in an Apple G5 and a Power Book G4, out of digital photographs obtained from different sources. I decided not to film the video but to use photos instead in order to get a more different and original stop motion like effect work.
