She Wants Revenge - Sister
Video link: www.shewantsrevenge.com
I heard this song on the radio the other day. The video's not great, but I'd be interested to hear what people have to say about the band. Is it just a huge Joy Division ripoff? Are they doing it on purpose? What's going on here?
For a point of reference here's a review I read online about the band... the reviewer mentions some interesting ideas.
I also like that the reviewer talks about simulacrum.

Marie Antoinette trailer by Sofia Coppola
ok, so i get edgy as the next guy about off-topic posts, but i THINK there's some worth in posting the link to the trailer to the new sofia coppola film, Marie Antoinette. the trailer is cut to the song 'age of consent' by new order, and certainly feels somewhat like a clip. it's quite a nice piece, and i'm always fascinated by contrasting period pieces with modern music. i figure posting this might generate some interesting discussion, but if the consensus is so I'll gladly delete it.

Mini-curate your favourite videos
I thought some of you might find useful that Squidoo has opened into public beta for people to create mini-expert guides, what they call 'lenses'.
Now is the time to organize all your Michel Gondry links or mini-curate a video selection of your favourite director into one of the lenses...
I've made mine at:Squidoo : Lenses : Music Video

Project 15 - Rich Bernett
Here's one of many 15 second clips from "Project 15". (15 seconds of footage a day for the entire year of 2005) It's not a full music video, but hopefully entertaining just the same. Please feel free to poke around the Project 15 log page where there are a lot more clips...

Black Future "Eu So O Rio", directed by Paulo Severo
Another music video dug out of the depths of 80s Brazil obscure new wave scene. Taken from the brillant "Não Wave" compilation. According to the compiler, the scenes shows Rio de Janeiro´s Black Future walk the streets of Lapa, the then and now hip quarter of the sugarloaf city. Recorded presumably 1988.
