Another flood descends on New Orleans, but a Mardi Gras spyboy arrives to save the day. In a New Orleans Mardi Gras parade, "The Spy Boy is first in the front: he is the baddest of all the Indians...he is ahead looking for trouble. Only a chosen few can be Spy Boy." (in the words of a famous parade leader)
This song is a little about Hurricane Katrina, and the Great Flood of 1927, and it imagines the Spyboy as someone who arrives to help shield the city from the worst of the rising waters. Be sure to stick around for the crazy synth break in the middle, and the slow-building lyrical explosion that follows.

Lazarus Mode released their debut, 4 track EP Ignite in February of 2014 at Rock The Bay music festival. Since it’s release, Ignite has been featured on Channel 31’s The Hard Rock Show, receiving high praise from the show’s hosts, who proclaimed it “the best thing [they'd] ever heard.” The EP features fours songs: #1 "Ignite", #2 "I Am Death", #2 "The Way It Is", #4 "Burn For Me".
Ignite has also been featured on radio stations all throughout Australia, the US, the UK and Canada, including artist features on 97.3 The Rock (Iowa, USA), Radio Rebel TV’s: Double Meat Pizza Show, Triple M's Homegrown, and OzMade.
Lazarus Mode released their latest single and music video "Ignite" (the title track off their debut EP) in October of 2014, which premiered on The Hard Rock Show. The music video was filmed by director and producer Gary Robertson (Jarrah Film) who also directed and produced Sydonia's "Reality Kicks".
