Yassou Benedict "In Fits In Dreams" - Director, Gary Yost
Here's a trip to SF via sexy, dreamy music.
"In Fits in Dreams" - Yassou Benedict from Gary Yost on Vimeo.
"In Fits in Dreams” is a short music video featuring Lilie Bytheway-Hoy of the SF Indie band Yassou Benedict. Shot at 8 locations around San Francisco and Southern Marin, including at Ocean Beach, on the Muni, Yerba Buena Center, the Haight, Battery Mendel, and at three secret locations on Mt. Tamalpais during January on the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera in RAW/dng format — graded in Davinci Resolve. It's a great example of what a small team can do on a limited budget with the crazy powerful new digital filmmaking tools these days.
Here's an article about it that just came out in sfcritic.com.

Happy Camper's new music video The Daily Drumbeat!
Hereby we would like to beat the drum for Happy Camper's new music video The Daily Drumbeat!
The Daily Drumbeat is a sunny song but it's lyrics hold a dark threat 'The drumbeat will beat you up'. It inspired studio Job, Joris & Marieke to make a dark and sinister animated music video. The story is set on the rooftops of a big city, where a group of innocent creatures is trying to keep up the pace of a fatal game.
Studio Job, Joris & Marieke previously worked together with Happy Camper on the first music video Born with a Bothered Mind and on the short film MUTE.

Pissed Jeans - "You're Different (In Person)" (live) Dir: Christopher Piazza
This insane live video captures Pennsylvania's fiercest noise-punk band at the height of their power at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn. Many critics said Pissed Jeans' Honeys was one of the best records of 2013. Here's just one of the songs from that great album.
