I did this film 4 years ago with some freinds, my little brother, and no budget. Bumcello is a great french band, an electric cello player Vincent Ségal, and drummer Cyril Atef. They improvise all their live shows. You can find this track on the album 'Nude for love'. They also play with the great french performer -M-. You can check them at www.bumcello.com

interesting to re-encounter some of your visual vocabulary here. still, you've got a great feel for the edit, and i like the impressionistic narrative. (also looks like your brother had some fun...)

Thanx p. It was pretty special doing this movie. I met my brother for the first time on the set of this film, which was the first for me. He had acted in a lot of movies before this one, at 10 he was much more professional than I was. Regarding the story, I wanted to tell something I had never seen in a video before, I really didn't care if that didn't fit in on TV. I liked the idea that it was meant for the big screen, even though it was video. But in the end, people don't really like it, I mean some love it, my friends and all, but in festivals it wasn't really apreciated. Which is fair because I hate 99% of what I see in festivals.

jey- I mean it really excellent on many levels. Slang "you got it going on". "It rocks". "you are rocking". The story and the tension between characters is great. I was glued to the screen even when the credits rolled. that is too bad about the festivals turning it down. Last good festival I saw was in 1991 so don't think you are missing anything. You are in heavy rotation on my new video Ipod! can't wait to see more. inspirational!
