Morrissey "I have forgiven Jesus"
Great song. Disappointing video. It doesn't even posess a fraction of the emotion contained in the track.
I agree, the song deserves a better video than this, but he does look pretty good as a priest.
has Morrissey ever done a good video? When I first heard "The First of the Gang to Die" I thought it was going to be given to a Romanek or Jonas Akerland (well, more likely a wannabe- I'm sure those dudes were pricey) and turn into the greatest video of the year. Doing a straightforward narrative would be predictable but it doesn't mean it wouldn't be awesome - the video practically writes itself. As it was, they just did a lame live video and that was that.
i think his best/worst video is 'ouija board' morrissey = camp so i wouldn't be looking for anything too profound in any of his videos.
complete suckfest, i was keeping myself from seeing it because i was afraid it would ruin why i love his music, and it almost did.
It't not as bad. It is almost no musicvideo, I agree, but it doesn't destroy the song. Just found "there's a light that never goes out!, live from Morrissey and his band; might be taken from his last DVD,strange editing, but very nice to see, people love him... quicktime HERE
