i'm curious whether this was done guerilla style or with a real budget. pretty cool either way. fits the vibe of the song really well. i prefer it to the band's previous video w/ the kinos in the shots.
Lovely, understated stuff, but why is it in slo – mo there is always a glass/bottle hitting the wall/floor? And bands walking around together in videos just remind me of Scooby Doo. Nevertheless, this is still way more enjoyable than a lot of the guff that is around at the moment. Thank god that Substitute post disappeared.

I really dig the pacing and the first slow motion shot of the car flying through the air is pretty damn beautiful. Was hoping for more intensity in the second half of the video. It would have been a nice contrast with the slow begining.

in answer to the budget question - it wasn't quite guerilla (the main shots were done with permits, ambulance, cops and such), but it certainly wasn't big money. we spent about four months in preproduction finding ways to do it on the cheap.
