Beck "Hell Yes" version two
Those are the only four QRIOs in existence.
UPDATE: beck.com - they just revamped this thing into a flash site so go to the video section.
o.k now i'm upset- hey Garth did you by any chance enter the online daft punk comp?? damm u -but its GREAT !!!
I liked it okay, the robots were cute.... but I dunno - it was a bit underwhelming. The concept is a great starting point, but they didn't really go anywhere with it. Why not compare the robot show to a fashion show or Vegas revue; and then go backstage - see the engineers last minute panicking as robots aren't working - making deals - Cosplay groupies - anything.
like the first one more. this is boring. Cosplay groupies would be fine, yeah.
Yeah, a bit unclimactic. I like the fab4 , but i think there could have been more of a narritive or less of a structure, this sort of lies right in the middle. we have the QRIO's and the audience. I would have enjoyed seeing them conversate and emote rahter than dance.
boring.
I like this a lot; it's much better on TV. It's not omg amazing, as we all hope, but that's okay. If you forget the hype and just enjoy it (on TV) it's great.
Garth just answered my question: "spike shot the holographic stuff of beck and the dancing bird man."
I'm sorry: I think, this is fucking cool - I don't know, if anyone finds it as funny as me, but here is a pic of our still-chancellor Gerhard Schröder with one of these sony-robots. Only, if you like it, otherwise: Forget about it ...
yeah it was boring. i thought it showed some promise when it started showing more of the audience watching the show - instead of just showing us the robots we've seen in ads before, they could have MADE something, like the cap'n was saying.
they needed to take the concept of "the robots are dancing" and slowly transform it - make the video DO something for christsakes!!
man, computer graphics have ruined life for all yalls. They're freakin tiny robots! Come on people! That's damn cool!
