I heard this song on the radio the other day. The video's not great, but I'd be interested to hear what people have to say about the band. Is it just a huge Joy Division ripoff? Are they doing it on purpose? What's going on here?
For a point of reference here's a review I read online about the band... the reviewer mentions some interesting ideas.
I also like that the reviewer talks about simulacrum.

... and the voice of interpol
sounds like the human league backed by a joy division covers band. The video is so pretentious its almost funny. I said 'almost'.
Given the fact that 2 DJ's are playing a prank (according to the popmatters review) I must say I'm impressed.
