Streets of love / The Rolling Stones (Dir: Jake Nava)
I love Nava's cinematography, kind of creamy and elegant. It's amazing how a band that's been around for forty years manages to come up with a great song, again.
I wonder, what we would think about this band, if we didn't know anything about them, nothing. And this here would be the very first thing we hear and see from a band called "rolling stones". I think, we would be very interested in these guys: Who the fuck is this? Anyway ... - but yeah, I'm sorry, I liked this, I mean, the video might be close to a video, which could be also from Bon Jovi, but with the rolling stones? It works. Cool.
This really is not very good at all.
One of the most iconic rock bands reduced to this bobbins?
A stiff performance and a trashy, contrived narrative.
