Mulberry Commons - "Winter Pageant" and "A Special Assembly"
to help celebrate the holidays, here is the "Winter Pageant" episode of my online comedic soap opera Mulberry Commons, about the oversexed precocious students at a coed boarding school. My cohort Amanda and I play all of the students.
The students' musical pageant starts about 1 minute into this episode.
& for fun, here's another Mulberry Commons episode, "A Special Assembly." about a gay man who comes to the school to raise awareness about his sexuality, and ends up providing some very eyebrow-raising revelations...

Occasionally people post things that arent music videos but they generally have something special, groundbreaking or beautiful about them relevant to the art of the moving image.

i apologize that these latest 2 weren't strictly music videos, i realized i was going out on a limb a little this time.
but everything that i've posted prior to this current posting has strictly been a music video.
i'll make sure that future posts are completely music-based, with no dialogue.

I don't mind you being here, Michael. But i have to be honest, I don't like any of your stuff. I think it's already been noted that Amanda is very attractive, but beyond that I really can't watch these. Just my view.

i don't think everything you have posted has strictly been a music video.
videos can be "lo-fi" or they can be spec, but making a little movie set to a silly song you wrote with your friend is NOT a music video. it's a musical short film.
some videos CAN be made by the musician, but it always works best when it adds something new to the song - just singing the song dressed as a woman in front of your camcorder is not adding anything.
ALSO, another thing that makes your posts so annoyning is all the pictures and/or text.
in conclusion, stop posting!
Amanda's in the Ditty Bops right? That's the musical connection... So in that regard, it kinda fits. -j
I didn't think it was that bad. The special assembly was kind of funny and I agree that Amanda is cute.
Neither of the videos had that much music in them though.

Hi Michael your site is great: there should be much more stuff like yours around! It's honest, fresh and disturbingly funny. Who cares about "real music videos". if we need that expensive crap we can watch mtv. That's why we have the internet! Please keep working, I'm sure you have a lot of fans.

thanks very much for your positive words, and for encouraging me to keep posting. i definitely have more stuff that i was planning to post, and i'm glad that someone out there wouldn't mind too much if i do so! :)
These aren't music videos, however. They're sketches. I will refrain from commenting on quality because I've barely watched these but honestly they're shot and cut like home movies.
If we were to extend musical videos via connection of the performer, woudn't that mean that we could post entire episodes of General Hospital because Rick Springfield was in it?
I mean sure, for those who care, I don't mind if these are up here ultimately, but the link to what antville is for most of us who use it - speciously tenuous at best.
At the least please resize the pictures. Amanda may be insanely cute, but I don't need wallpaper sized pictures of her. Thus far.
