looks great - well done shawn kim- but too much story- found that with the ringside video.

         

hah, i thought that might've been shawn dop'ing. still, kinda dull, imho.

         

What I want to know is...who else wrote on this track and if they want to post their treatments to see what other ideas were out there. I'm curious to see if the band picked Joaquin for his treatment or his name.

         

it was definitely the treatment - the others that were submitted - including ones by Ryan Phillipe, James Franco and Wilmer Valderrama - were just not that good.

The first video by Ben Foley was comissioned and created with a minimal budget before the band were signed. Alongside some bloody good gigs the video was used to tout there incredible talent around the U.S resulting in their current signing with wind up records. Wind up then reissued an immense budget and new breif for a big ass launch of the band in the states. Athough Ben Foley and many others wrote some wicked pitches, they aint no Joaquin Phoenix! I like both vids, Has anyone seen them on tv or full resolution??.

         

I like the colors when the terminal begins to flash. That sequence is amazing.

I am a bit sick of the punch-line video, a la radiohead...and this one was kind of lame in terms of the final moment. I'm guessing that the note read "If you talk too much, then your head will explode"?

         

Oh...

and I'm jealous cause I wrote on this too.
