I don't understand why everyone gives these two such grief... yeah their work is totally amateur, but so is heaps of the stuff on this site.
Even if you don't like it from a stylistic perspective, at least get a laugh out of it one way or another (and by that I mean either "funny haha" or "funny wtf").
You're going to have to wade through crap on this site anyway, so why complain? most videos ARE crap.
I find their site to be extremely amusing, the mulberry commons stuff is pretty funny. These two are just having fun, keep it coming michael.
i'm sure it's the funniest thing in the world to their group of friends. but they just don't know how to connect with an audience. worse than being not funny is the fact all these things are horribly boring.

On the other hand im irritated of so much profiling. And I think there are so many possibilities to share homemade material with other people.
No doubt. We need art for a single moment. Watch it and forget it. And I don´t have any problems with crappy looking videos. But.......Where is the idea? And with our contributions everyone should try to hold here a certain level of quality. In form an content....At least in content.
Furthermore it would be a real waste of time to be a part of a comunitiy which has nothing more to offer than comments such as "funny haha", "funny wtf", "cute".....and ok....."crap".

I had some traumatic experiences with girl clothes...When I was 4 or 5, my older sister have dressed me like a russian princess and I was running on the streets of our quarter....And some people laughted at me and told me, that I rather should be born as a girl than as a boy...."Possibly", they have said, "you don´t even have a penis." i thought that those vidoes are quite inventive, i like the minimalist approach! after spending some time reading comments here i more and more get the impression quite a few from the general audience on this site enjoy insulting people posting to this blog - or just one another if there is no one else to put down. if you want to build some kind of creative community than this is not a good idea. but maybe anything beyond mtv is too hard to understand for some at this point.

I know. After contributing your work to this blog you have received some severe criticism. But I think you should take it sportsmanlike. Don´t leave in a huff.
I think the idea is that, constructive critisism is a healthy part of antvilles community.
I would compair it to having somthing in your teeth, its embarrising when someone points it out, but its for the greater good... and you will grow from it in the end.

if anything here is YouTube.com like than certainly not the videos posted, but maybe the quality of some of the comments made. it's an online phenomenon that a lot of people are extremely rude when posting a comment, they write stuff they would never say to anyone when looking into their eyes.
but do as you wish. just keep waiting for people to post videos and then tell them "YouTube.com is a better forum for you...." and "most videos ARE crap". you'll be creating yourself not just a zoo with lots of wild animals, but an ancient rom like arena...

I know. You have good intentions. But do you think it´s constructive critism to call this three videos "inventive" ? What is the meaning of inventive? OK, the decision if something is inventive or redundant depents on skills in media.(right? My Enlish. Such a shame) And thats the point.
And it´s fact, that most videos are crap! Yes! Yes! Yes! Why should I shut my mouth? It´s a blog!
And don´t forget indistaion: Best friends are mostly miserable critics.
