Röyksopp "Happy Up Here" (dir. Reuben Sutherland)
This was excellent. One of those rare occasions where someone is able to rig a camera in a 3D environment to feel right. Nice concept and technical execution as well.
Lovely. I'm looking forward to the album, like, a lot.
I look forward to showing this to my grandchildren so they ask me about those weird chunky icons they've seen on their history iBooks....

Thanks. I should have guessed Reuben from the little cars.
alright, that was much better the 2nd and 3rd viewing. Najork, dense is a good word to describe this video. The first time I tried to watch it, it felt like a bunch of random, pretty images being cut together quickly, so I walked away.
but, yeah, I gave it another shot. It's lovely. It still feels a little claustrophobic (to use the word incorrectly, technically, I think) but once you shake that off a bit, you got yourself a very nice piece of work. Not to mention, the execution is first rate too.
this gave me the same queasy feeling i get when trying to watch a Michael Bay action sequence.
Totally into this. The movement is great.
