Every now and then (two be exactly only two times yet), I write little artcles for phlow.net , a very nice german webzine dedicated to music and "net culture". This time I wrote about musicians from a very littele town called "Weilheim" in the south of Germany. You may not know the town, but you may know some of the many bands from Weilheim. Bands like The Notwist, Lali Puna or Console. But allmost no musician from Weilheim plays in only one band. Most of the bands are sharing there members. So if you indie rock, post rock, electronica, inditronica in other words "good music", there are plenty of files waiting to be downloaded. Read the article @ phlow.net

If you haven't heard Notwitst's "Neon Golden", go pick it up. Great album and some of their videos are pretty clever too.

I'd have to add that Notwist's work loses punch after a second/third listening. For those interested in similar music, I highly recommend MUM and any of their albums. They're like a cross between Sigur Ros and Matmos set in an adolescent universe. Quite beautiful at times.
